reART is reinvigorating the art market and your passion for collecting art!
reART is a cutting-edge sales platform for artworks by recognised artists featured in private collections, estates, and the archives of galleries and museums.
By revitalising the art market, reART seeks to breathe new life into art in the sense of its true significance.
About reART
reART’s new business model offers a cutting-edge platform for the sale of artworks created by recognised artists and featured in private collections, estates, and the archives of galleries and museums. The fundamental concept is to motivate collectors, gallerists, heirs, and private owners of valuable, recognised, and documented art to consider offering it for sale.
We intend to stimulate a closing of the gap between sellers and potential buyers and, in this way, to introduce forgotten treasures back into circulation on the art market. The online platform reART offers a convenient means to permanently present and to search for artworks via the Internet; the art is treated with due respect and buyers and sellers remain anonymous.
Sellers present their artworks free of charge and for an unlimited period of time!!!
How does it work?
The most innovative aspect of this online service for art lovers is the anonymity and security that it provides to both the buyers and sellers of art. reART’s Internet-based, customer-friendly sales model is the product of its founder’s unique know-how: personal consultation and sales service ensure that every phase of your transaction will go smoothly.
The platform reART offers a range of works that encompasses modern art and contemporary art in various media, including painting, works on paper, and sculpture. The wide selection of artworks is lucidly organised and readily accessible to anyone. Interested art lovers are thus able to take a look around reART’s entire website whenever they want; detailed reproductions, extensive descriptions of the individual artworks, and relevant information about the artists provide for a substantial online experience of the works. In this way, potential buyers can develop a realistic impression of what is being offered – in advance and at their own convenience. Armed with this information, they can arrive at their own preliminary selection.
reART is characterised by the fact that every customer receives a consultation tailored to his or her individual needs. This service encompasses the provision of expert reports regarding the quality and monetary value of particular works, information about specific artists, and even specific recommendations for purchases. The anonymous process provides advantages for sellers as well as buyers: no personal information will be exchanged between the parties involved in a transaction. Additionally, the artworks in question will not be delivered until after the sales contract has been completed: the work thus remains with the seller until it has been sold.
The ‘reART-Roadshows’ represent a further important element in the overall concept and provide an attractive complement to the online platform. At intervals throughout the year, they pass through various cities and provide temporary exhibitions in a variety of formats. Whether parallel to art fairs or in the context of specially developed programmes, the ‘reART-Roadshows’ bring together art and its public. These traveling presentations offer an excellent opportunity to take a first-hand look at particular works. Every show simultaneously expands reART’s professional network.
Who benefits the most?
One of our fundamental concepts is inspiring those owners of artworks who have always resisted considering the sale of their art to take this first step. Perhaps a traditional collector has already considered introducing specific works back onto the market, but has no interest in investing much time in the project. Or perhaps someone has inherited a valuable painting, which ought to be treated with due respect, but simply does not fit in with the new interior and has thus been relegated to a closet for longer than anyone cares to remember. reART offers a way to avoid the considerable effort – and also the anxiety – involved in finding and contacting a traditional auction house. We intend to stimulate a closing of the gap between sellers and potential buyers and, in this way, to introduce forgotten treasures back into circulation on the art market. And if the final decision has been made to part with a cherished painting, then an appropriate amount ought to be received for it.
For these reasons, reART provides a simple means to permanently present and to search for artworks via the Internet; the works simultaneously receive the recognition they deserve.
The concept thus seeks to bring new momentum into the art market. Artworks are to be allowed to develop their full effectiveness, to be opened up to new perspectives and perceptions. The concept derives from a recognition that many friends of the arts obviously wish to reinstate a relationship to art in terms of its original values and purposes. Neglected works should be brought out of storage and dusted off, so that they can change owners in the simplest way possible. The art with which we surround ourselves is not intended to be treated as a purely financial investment, but to directly influence our life in a rich variety of ways and to receive the careful attention that it deserves.
Revitalise the art market and bring new life to art in terms of its true significance!
